Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage - £22

Indian Head Massage is an Indian tradition dating back 4000 years. It originated by families sitting behind one another and massaging each other with oils to promote healthy hair growth and to heal scalp conditions. Narendra Mehta, a blind osteopath and massage therapist brought Indian Head Massage to the UK in the 1970's. He devised a therapy that would bring relief to a multitude of problems concentrated on the head, and concluded that the therapy should be extended by including the neck, shoulders, back, and upper arms.

Massage has a number of positive therapeutic effects upon a person, including physical, physiological and psychological benefits.
